⁴⁴ In that place, worms never die, and the fire is never put out.^[a]

⁴⁵ And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It’s better for you to enter life crippled than to have two feet and be thrown into hell.^{[b] 46} In that place, worms never die, and the fire is never put out.^[c]
